Have you gained weight on your medication? What was your starting weight and what doy ou you weigh now?

I gained weight, seroquel was one of the worst for me. I gained about 50 lbs. And with risperdone it was around 40. Im now on rexulti and vraylar and ive actually lost about 10 so far, its only been 2 months. Im much more active so i think thats why

I started out at 117 pounds I weigh 167 now.

Started at 68kg and now I am 110kg

I maintained a weight of 100-115 on APs (besides the short times i took zyprexa) for about 13 years. Then i took clozapine and went from 110 to 170 in 6 months. Ive lost half of that now putting me back in a normal weight but still heavier than i was. I’d like to lose about 20 more.

Did you lose that weight while still on clozapine.

Started around 55kg, now 83kg. Im on aripiprazole/abilify

i weighed 180 lbs after losing 60 lbs switching from olanzapine to geodon, now back on olanzapine i weight 360 lbs, it sucks and makes me feel bad about myself but olanzapine is most effective med for me despite being destructive to my metabolism which was the complete opposite before meds as i was skinny

Nope. I quit clozapine then lost weight.

iwent from 90kg to 115kg gradually since i take invega

Zyprexa. Started at 75kg, went to 98kg. Managed to lose a period and came down around 82. Then back up around 95 and stable at this probably for the last 5 years. Trying to lose again now, but it’s hard work with slow metabolism and hunger on top of that. Just have to endure being hungry and fight the instinct to eat more than reasonable + excersise.

Zyprexa made be gain weight FAST
Got off it and now on Clozaril 10 years…still haven’t lost the weight

I’ve gained 20kg ( from 85kg to 105kg…)
I now feel I can’t please anyone.

I lost 70 or 80 pounds due to akathisia and then put 20 back on.

I am 6 feet , I used to be 185 pounds before antipsychotics

Now I am 235 pounds

Pre-sz I weighed 63 kg
At my max I weighed 107 kg
Last year I weighed 78 kg
Now I weigh 91 kg

Trying to lower meds to lose weight right now.
