At which point the world as we know it shall end… and the Spirit shall reveal itself fully for all to see, putting an end to the delusion!
Wouldn’t that be fantastic?!
Have you tried getting a exorcism?
Your Catholic man you should and if it works let us know …seriously.
i wonder about the meaning of life too.
I was thinking this some more and yes it has even though I tried to live morally all my adult life I try harder now in the hope that i’ll go to Heaven and that will put a end to my disorder.
I experienced psychosis. But yes mine was a spiritual awakening. And the old school old school traditional view is not demonic posession it is just being a conduit to the spirit world. In a traditional society you would be taken under the Tutlidge of someone who had gone through psychosis before and trained to be able to control it and enter osychosis at will and knowledge of how to navigate through it. Being taught using techniques in a living tradition tens of thousands of years old.
Taking medication for schizophrenia woke me up from believing it was a spiritual experience. I would say 98% of spiritual people dont think schizophrenia is a spiritual issue but rather a medical issue. Also the majority dont think that an existance or person is doing somthing to them but not others causing them constant focus on an existance or people that others are not focusing on.
But look the “spirit world” is the unconcious part of the psyche. Study the unconcious in psychology especially carl Jung and perhaps you will understand what it is.
And it’s been documented by anthropologists when they speak to the shaman or seer of a traditional people they all speak of the “calling” which was a psychological crisis or psychosis.
Their is a confrontation with the “shadow”. The persecution is the shadow. Also refered to the super ego or inner critic or punitive parent it is just now the inner critic is heard in the third person if you hear voices.
My psychosis made me aware of inner traumas that had been repressed into the shadow.
And my osychosis ended about a week ago and lasted a year and a couple months. If anything perhaps study the spirituality of ancient people or indigenous peoples. Or preorthodox Christianity as in Gnostics.
What I experienced was extremely intense but I did have 2 visions over the period of my psychosis they were spiritual religious in nature. Well the first was early childhood memories linked to truama the second was a continuation of the first but was spiritual.
If you look up on YouTube tedtalks there are a couple one on hearing voices and another on psychosis as a spiritual awakening.
Looking back on my childhood I know I was schizophrenic.
I have very clear memories of being controlled by “entities”.
Full blown development happened later.
During this and mainly after this I perceived it as some kind of spiritual development.
Now after a number of years and more experience I’m not so sure.
The world is a mysterious place.
Personally I don’t think anything is guaranteed.
Obviously, this is just my opinion.
I don’t know about the spiritual, but I never experienced anything as deadening as being put on Haldol. The years I was on Haldol were the worst years of my life. Being on Geodon and Seroquel is pretty cool with me, though. These drugs take care of the hallucinations, and I can think clearly on them.
You are here to aid those who cannot see because you have been blessed with what has seemed to be a separate socially acceptable curse… until you are able to embrace your gift of sight- being led to find spiritual family that exist all around the world. You may be in tune more than others, and not everyone can hear the voices as clearly. As in the 1950’s from technology to spirituality. Drugs have often opened some people up to understanding “love is all you need”, which is unconditional. (1970’s) I cannot change anybody, nor would I wish to, the only happiness I can affect is my own. Therefore if society is telling you something is wrong with you, they are attaching conditions to loving you the way that you are which is their need for breaking down their walls and returning to the childlike perspective of God. No judgments…Technically any person of faith is preaching the relative same shpeal. Which is that God talks through us all if we allow it. Jesus proofread miracles as well as many others, and if you were a profit of the “lord” back in the day you were crazy(Noah) Compation to all those who believe they are right, because clearly this world needs more people in their ego attacking others for what they don’t understand about themselves and their limitation. Each person is allowed to make their own decisions and many have been programed by society to explain what is normal. Speaking to those who do not understand you will only make you feel alienated and alone; metaphorically/metaphysically you are trying to relate to a wall because they are not open( if someone is open, they would not say no to prayer, they wouldn’t be trying to interrupt you or become angry) nor can they comprehend the sensations that you feel.
We are all one individually-you may be the arms while I am the legs(meaning we cannot change the world alone) and we are on a flow of a spiritual awakening…
When you are in a state in your mind, your imagination is the foundation for creation(beliefs)(Inventors)(visionaries). So you must learn to focus on your own personal happiness(loving yourself for who you are-in your spirit you are one, you are God. You are human and you are not perfect by definition of obtainment. However you are perfect in that you are growing/becoming what you are by being present in the moment. Which is part of the duality of being multidimensional. Because all is…You are what you are…Unity of speaking up for those who do not have a voice. Your brothers and sisters are here to help you as one.
If this were the case in your life, the earth is flat to others
while you have seen that it is round…
Simply putting that all life is…is a choice. You can “imagine” demons or angels and bring whatever YOU FOCUS on into your life. And if your intentions are noble, then why would you ever be cursed by God? Love has no ego. God is love for being able to be in connection with everything, Love transcends time and allows you to dream of anything you wish to be. (Which in all cases, is happy)
To find and embrace yourself. Society deems that you are not normal because you have been sent here to be unique. If you do not properly protect yourselves by understanding that you see these things for a reason then your gifts shall curse you.(Prayer works folks) Through prayer you can cure just about anything(unless somebody doesn’t believe)…cause guess what you have been given the gift of creation. If you speak, it will be. What you focus on you get, what you seek you shall find…Laws of attraction.
You have been brought here for the understanding and accession of humanities pure love perspective. And when you see entities by whichever nature you decide, does it not effect the energy of the atmosphere, and when someone is plagued with a demon is it not to do with their own personal choices of not understanding themselves? Which is why you are here, to aid yourself (love yourself) work on yourself. live for yourself, which in turn will help everyone based upon your expanding consciousness. Not all entities are nice. and spirit will also drive you crazy until you understand your are blessed. So sometimes those demons are you-not making the choice to get out of bed and want to live.
I cannot change anyone, I am merely able to change my perception so that I can be the example that I would like to see in the world. that you can perceive that others cannot for the time. Being able to see auras, creatures, entities, spirits…all of which are deemed manifestations of our individual minds. We are collective and came here for love. Love is sent into darkness to clear it out. Your words and love can change the world…I have to much to say really.
Hell is in your mind
Heaven is in your heart
You will understand both when you keep your feet on the ground-balanced without self condemnation
A thought-provoking post.
There is an overlap between ‘spiritual awakening’ and schizophrenia. Some people who might think they have SZ, or are labelled schizophrenic or mentally ill by others, are, in fact, going through this spiritual awakening stuff. If the ‘voices’ (mental or aural) give you a choice in a matter, they are from angels/good spirits. If they don’t give you a choice and tell you to do things, they are either psychosis/mental illness or from demons (which do exist, before anyone chortles.) God always give people a choice. That’s why he is hiding this SA stuff behind a mental illness to actually protect the ‘collective unconscious’ and allow it to have an escape route. If the collective unconscious ever witnessed how powerful and ubiquitous the Supreme Being is, the healthcare system would go into meltdown from people demanding medication to cure their perceived ‘madness’. Because even then, they still would not believe: they would look for a way to rationalise the experience, and, on finding no rational explanation, would declare themselves mentally ill and in need of a doctor.
Orion, you seem to speak from experience. I could do with your help in all this.
Best wishes,
Padster
A long and gradual spiritual or humanistic climb -
To come out of psychosis is kind of a spiritual awakening. To be reborn into the world of the ordinary and admire its beauty and peace is magnificent. To reappreciate non-magical thinking and commonsense, to once more enter the social world is much like being brought up in the world as a child - though this time reflectively and fully aware of its significance. That moment when for the first time you fully realize the folly of your delusions, that moment when you for the first time have the power to reject them and choose for a shared world, it is like a spiritual birth indeed.
Far from it, how could sz ever be some spiritual awakening, hearing voices and having some visual hallucinations that I was one who decided who the next US President would be. Pure craziness. There are things that are worse than sz, but in my opinion sz is quite bad.
What great philosophy to live life by…
Richard Dawkins marvels the wonder of nature too! He is a scientist who has written a novel on the God Delusion. Quite controversial but he believes that the natural world is enough. Not sure whether his model has quite the same aspect of religion to it though!
I’ve thought my psychosis was a spiritual matter in the past and that I’d undergone an initiation. Antipsychotics made me realise that it was just illness and I don’t get the spiritual/occult delusions any more.
