Violent thoughts from paranoia

Sometimes i feel the whole world is against me and laughing at me. I haven’t been able to socialize because i think everyone is tricking me. Its made me have viioent and homicidal thoughts to strike back and hurt them. I discuss this with my therapist and she doesn’t offer any help other than call if i have urges to plan something. Is this common with paranoia and feeling persecuted

Yeah that’s common. Do you have a psychiatrist?

Yes and she says pretty much the same. She does switch up my meds if it gets worse

Sounds like you need a new pdoc who cares. Are you SZ or SZA? I take mood stabilizers and APs which helps a ton.

Not a good idea to hurt anyone

I have the same issues. I’m really paranoid about everyone and their motives. Sometimes I think they want to deliberately hurt me.

If you hurt someone you’ll be banged up in prison quicker than your feet can touch the floor. Youll spend everyday for the next 30+ years regretting an impulsive mistake you made and be punished for life mentally and physically inside prison. You would regret it honestly so please fight these urges, keep taking your meds and talk to your therapist.

This is what stops me from doing it. My logic just goes out the window when i get these feelings and i can’t think straight. Everyone feels threatening to me

I know its hard to always think logically But your letting these thoughts fester inside you. You need to distract yourself with books, tv, church, hobbies anything that will give you a sense of focus and purpose. Its no good obsessing about people in a negative way. Were all the basic same we all need good connections with people otherwise sz our illness leads us to obsess think negatively
Its not true your mind is tricking you
Try writing thoughts down, be honest and confide in your therapist

Having violent thoughts to “defend” yourself from an imagined enemy or enemies is pretty common.
Seek out help for the paranoia before something awful happens.
You don’t want to end up going to jail

Appears as though your all alone in the world, your family are unsupportive
So you need to seek out positive connections with people to counter your negative perception

What other symptoms do you have do you mind me asking

And seeing a different pdoc and therapist might be an idea

No you aren’t. Why would you say that?

I don’t think its very cool that admins can watch IP address and basically see where you live etc

Am i overthinking?

Sometimes i have Violent aggressive abusive thoughts against me as well. I take medication for this and have several psychiatric admissions. I went into alcoholism, which i am over. Don’t know, sometimes i think i am chicken. I do meditation and mindfulness aswell, but still low self-esteem and confidence.
