I like the music I got to as an adolescent. I like Joni Mitchell. But I also like classic Rock ‘n’ Roll. I like Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, George Thorogood, Leon Russel, Mary Black, Marianne Faithful.
Yeah, I remember my Grandfather frequently saying, “It is terrible to get old,” and so far I refuse to say that! On the other had, I do repeat myself, just as he did . . .
Last I knew, Joni Mitchell was still smoking.

Not saying you but I find it funny when rap/hip hop fans are always like “WOW RAP MUSIC WAS SO MUCH BETTER TWO YEARS AGO”. Yeah they’ve been saying that since 1995. Its just when something’s new and fresh people don’t know what to think. Have to have it drilled into their head enough to like it (or hate it for that matter). But usually, whatever you like at ~14 years old is your favorite music for life. Any genre that wasn’t out before you were an adult is probably hard to comprehend.
