I love Dixieland jazz, but regular jazz seems hopelessly bland and without emotion to me. It really doesn’t do anything for me. I guess my taste in music is primitive. I really have only the barest knowledge of music.
I like dixieland jazz too…but my favorite jazz is the thirties and forties jazz…I like big band too.
I’m not a big jazz fan.
maybe you search for something that you can’t find in a complex music such as jazz
i’m not big jazz fan either but when i do click with jazz it’s because i see some story ride above the noise
Smooth jazz is a bit of a trigger for me cause my abusers office was always playing it so I associate it with bad things but I’ve started feeling a little better lately
I’m with @jukebox 30s and 40s and big band for me. I love the stuff.
I don’t really like listening to jazz on my headphones but in the dim and distant past I’ve been to see jazz live and really liked it.
Same here, I like old-school 30s/40s jazz and big band. The newer jazz sounds a bit like elevator music to me.
Not big into traditional jazz but I can really get into swing music.
Try some Django Reinhardt if you can’t get into traditionalist jazz; swing might be more your thing.
Idk if I counts as jazz but electro swing is like my jam
i cannt post vids.
Go to youtube and search:
hit that jive, Gramatic
whats not to like?
I’ve never been Into jazz, never really liked it, don’t mind hearing it but actively seeking out that type of music is not me lol.
I kind of like smooth jazz.
I’ve never got into Jazz. When I was at school there was a group of boys who were really into 'Bitch’s brew ’ by Miles Davis. They also liked people like Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock.
My parents played a lot of jazz/big band music… I love the energy. I like a variety of jazz, but I understand that some of it can be headache-inducing. I posted a few of my favorites. Life affirming
I love jazz, and I do think there’s good contemporary jazz.
I like Norah Jones’ jazz fusion. Don’t know why she isn’t more popular.
I also like Diana Krall, The Hot Sardines, and Joey Alexander is a prodigy worth checking out.
