Thinking about buying Skyrim Anniversary Edition. They packed a bunch of quality mods into the base game. Apparently graphics are nicer too.
I’ve already bought Skyrim like 5 times. Does sound kinda cool though. Is it just a DLC or a full game?
I’m playing yet another playthrough of Skyrim SE. Love the game and there’s some decent mechanics in the Anniversary edition not that I use the fishing one!
DLC, but it adds some cool looking new content including quest lines and new areas.
Edit: Also new items and systems. Just looked more into it. Gonna buy
Srry about the late reply. Yeah that reminds me of how much I miss my series X wish I could’ve tried new Vegas on there. I see Microsoft is more my choice now but I used to be a PlayStation fan. In all honesty though I’d buy both just to play each consoles exclusives lbs Noice about the 100% and you mean in achievements too or the story? I’m just curious because I’ve recently been trying to get all achievements on 360 games get a LOT of points that way… and serotonin too lol
I think it’s because there’s more stuff to do in the newer elder scrolls like in Skyrim you can craft food and armor etc even get married little things like that but nothing beats an og classic with the nostalgia it creates like oblivion did for me. Since I didn’t play it though it’d probably feel slow for me too might just play it for the lore though.
So just set up the new 34in monitor and skyrim looked great but needed a mod to get the menus to work properly. I’m so bad with mods and rarely use them but got it done after about an hour of stuffing around. Now that I’ve done it I think some more mods are on the cards…
I realised after like 400 hours that the questing in FFXIV is utter trash. I enjoy the combat a lot but the questing is so terrible that I cant be bothered to do it anymore.
I installed black desert today (had 30 hours previously) and after 2 hours on a new character - same deal. Just really trash quests. Go here, talk to this person, go here talk to this person. Probably will uninstall that too.
I love lots of elements of MMO’s but grinding through fetch quests for hours is not worth my time.
I’ve been playing a bit of elden ring too. Its not as good as I hoped. Combat is great, but so much of the game is just empty open world stuff. I like the proper “level” areas but the open world stuff isn’t really exciting after a few hours.
I’m about to start Cyberpunk, it was on sale. Any advice?
i play runescape (old school mostly, though i was addicted to rs3 for most of my life lol), and league of legends
DOOM 2016 is really hard on Switch. I’m bad at using controllers that aren’t mouse and keyboard. Somehow I managed to beat Eternal on PS4.
I’ve just been playing rhythm games like Hi-Fi Rush and Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage lately
They’re both 2 different flavors of rhythm games but they’re both really fun
i played eternal on switch lite. it was hard also lol mainly bcuz the joysticks are so tiny. when i propped it up on a stand and connected a controller it was much better but at that point i might as well just play it on pc as it kinda defeats the purpose of handheld gaming
Yeah I can see that especially with how fast and complicated Eternal is compared to 2016.
i installed some of the xbox 360 digital games i have that cant be played on xbox one with backwards compatible. far cry 4, black ops 3,.resident evil 6, and bulletstorm.
i own so many xbox 360 games so idek if i will play these any time soon.
one problem tho is that the download speed is 0.01 mbps even with ethernet while the same connection and cable is 300+ mbps on xbox one or pc. i think its a server side issue due to the xbox 360 being so old.
i might start playing through some disc games on the console that i never played from that generation.
i got red dead redemption (1) for xbox 360 today for only $11 used on amazon, also fast delivery it says it will arrive tomorrow.
i like the collecting part of getting physical discs and also owning something that is not only playable on one account and required to be connected to internet to dow load and play. physical games are one of the biggest selling points for consoles vs just buying all games on my gaming pc
Yeah I can dig that physical copy thing but I’ve no problems with digital downloads as I’m a pc gamer anyways. I actually had a dvd drive in this computer but it’s died and I haven’t even considered replacing it. Digital for me these days as I don’t want to accumulate more stuff…
Still. Sounds like you’ve a good selection to get through.
Anyone else going to play the Diablo 4 beta? I think it is open and starts in about 6 hours and goes for a few days.
I’m expecting long login queues.
Me. Hopefully it will live up to the series’s high reputation.
for some reason i want to complete a game on my handheld console/emulator. it can run gameboy advance games, and basically every console released up to ps1, ps1 tho is a bit hit or miss but there is a config that someone made for 125 ps1 games that improves performance. i feel like it will be a cool accomplishment to beat an old game lol most of the time my handhelds and older consoles dont get much playtime as i always end up back on pc and xbox playing modern fps games
