I have this strange havmbit of buying games during steam sales then going back to playing Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2 on role-playing servers. I guess it’s common for avid video gamers. Some people online call it a backlog. I’ve got quite a few games I haven’t finished. I guess it’s not too bad as I do sometimes play a video game for over 40 hours without finishing it.

Never really done the math but at $9.99 that’s not such a bad time investment for an hourly minimum wage in California. I keep telling myself it’s better than purchasing a pack of cigarettes. I guess it is.

Anyone have a backlog?

What games are on your backlog?

For me it’s The Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity 1&2, Pathfinder Kingmaker, and Encased. I’ve spent several hours playing each one, I usually get near the second act in them and then something happens in life. I return and restart them to remember the story, sometimes restarting them feels like a chore knowing the storyline to a certain point. Also throw Skyrim into that list.

Not going to lie, I’m probably going to get the Skyrim 10th Anniversary edition to try and finish the main quest line. Done the Companions, Thieves Guild and Mages Guild but never finished the main quest.

Resident Evil series, Kingdom Hearts series, Devil May Cry series, and I need to finish my achievements on the current version of Skyrim (and eventually Fallout 4 and Oblivion). All on Xbox.

Someday I’ll get around to Pillars 1 and 2 on my PC.

Oh remember when I mentioned NWN1 Infinite Dungeons? I tried it and even though it is fun because loot is all over the place… leveling is painfully slow. It’d probably be more fun with a wizard. but really. Leveling is slow grinding mobs.

Oh right. You know I got the xbox version of NWN enhanced and am somewhere in chapter two with a wizard. If we played together I was gonna pick a healer probably.

Unfortunately the xbox version is missing infinite dungeons because of the save file size it creates.

I got it for the Switch. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ve bought Skyrim four times already… PS3, PC, PS4, Switch… oh boy. Whelp, at least your bro is getting paid!

And honestly if Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition came out, I’d be on it like a fat kid on pizza… which is what I’m becoming again since getting out of jail.

I got pretty far in Switch version of Skyrim, through the Soul Cairn I remember.

Yeah NWN2 is freaking awesome you can get monkey grip to single-hand wield two handers, then dual wield them. And it shows graphically. It’s really cool.

Yeah in jail I was like 120 lbs, bruce lee. Now I’m 205.

Hahah. Dude if you ever get Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete Edition on GOG. Hit me up and let’s play in the Bladur’s Gate PW server. It’s loads of fun.

In jail I went down to 163. I was around 184 when I was bonded out and now I’m like 220. I’m around 5’11". In my defense my sister from England is visiting and we’ve had a full house for the past month which means the likely hood of pizza from day to day is about 67%. Not to mention all the fun size bags of Doritos half eaten which I have become the garbage disposal for. The kids are all under the age of 10 so they usually get a handful then decide they want pizza.

I really liked Skyrim for Switch. That’s where I finished the Mage Guild quests.

Yeah I think I have NWN 2 on GOG but I haven’t installed it. I didn’t know it had multiplayer. I’ll have much more time to play in a week when I’m in the new place, until then my computer is in the living room of my grandparent’s house so I can’t really voice chat.

Oh no worries man. Usually, I don’t voice chat while playing. Sometimes I do on discord but rarely. It’s more of a stay in character while typing thing. Really nerdy stuff but it’s fun. If you ever decide to try it let me know. I know moving can be a pain. Had to move three times in the last 2 years.

I imagine it can be, but haven’t looked into it. Want it for exercise. This is where my gym budget for the winter is going. The tai chi classes and weight room membership I wanted so badly are now off the menu thanks to unvaxxed f###heads causing the fourth wave of COVID. First two games are…

Beat Saber:

Supernatural:

I think it’s cool you enjoy VR gaming. Honestly, I’ve only experienced a virtual reality device once and it was pretty neat. A dude let me try it out back around 2016 or so. It was a poker game. It felt really well done, almost like being in a casino. I can only imagine how VR will advance. Seems it has been improving steadily.

I remember playing a WW2 dogfighting game for PC with an actual joystick. Wild how technology has improved in the last 20 years.

Bought the new revamped “Myst” last night, theres 2 versions with randomized puzzles and a VR version.

Certainly a lot prettier then it was in 1993. Oh the memories lol. I gonna have fun with that today.
