Using my sunlamp

I can’t stand the shorter dark days of late autumn and winter.
All I’m doing is lounging about in my house and couch in my pajamas.
I’m also craving and eating more carbs (junk food)

I’ve decided to use my sunlamp that I haven’t used in a few years.

My doctor okayed it yesterday.

In the past it made me a bit hypomanic but at this point I don’t care.

Anything is better than living like a vegetable.

Do they really work that well? My depression is worst in winter and I have thought about using one also.

Yes they work well especially if you get more depressed during the autumn and winter.

I just finished using mine for 15 minutes and my mood is elevated already.

It’s used a little differently for bipolar disorder but it also works for unipolar depression and of course seasonal affective disorder.

A good sunlamp is not inexpensive but it shouldn’t break the bank either.

Please discuss it over with your psychiatrist first.

My doctor recommended it for me @Sherlock
