Or happy lamp, whatever they’re called. It’s supposed to help with S.A.D.
I’m thinking of buying one, the cheaper ones are around 60$. My depression is always much worse in the winter, which usually triggers my psychosis.
All in all, the cold months are not good for my mental health. The days are really short, maybe that’s something to do with it?
Has anyone tried them out? Should I get one?

SAD lamps are really effective for winter blues. Helps for the days of the year when there isn’t much sunlight exposure (people tend to stay indoors during winter.)

They do a good job. Try talking to your doctor about prescribing one. My doctor did that and I got it for free

I got one, not expecting much difference. But holy cow, it was amazing! I was so much more productive and energetic all winter!

Can I ask what brand you got?
I’m surprised at all the positive responses, I’ll get one for myself the next time I have money.
That’s really interesting. I got bit excited cos it would cost me around £9 a prescription
I just bought a generic grow light from the garden center I used to work at. It was much weaker, so I needed to use it for 60-90 minutes instead of 20-60 like the professional ones. But it was only like $25.
