Update on no carbs diet

Started on Thursday. No bread, rice or potatoes. Things seem to be going ok - but was eating peanuts for the first few days. Peanuts have some carbs in them. Will keep you all updated.

Tbh I think you are showing more discipline doing a strict calorie controlled diet as opposed to my ‘cheat’ one.

I eat pretty much what I want except for sweets and soda.

It’s all about calorie control.

I seeing a dietician though. Although I think my next appointment with them might be the last one.

The best advice I can give you based on my experience is download a calorie counting app and start with a generous 2500 calories a day.

I fall off the bandwagon sometimes though.

Good luck @Jimbob diets aren’t easy, that’s why I can never stick with them.

Thanks @anon84763962. Determined to lose weight. My consultant was telling me today that the amount if meds I am on is dangerous for someone my size. Can’t reduce the meds as I go a bit off so have to lose the weight.

Need to exercise as well.

If losing weight was easy we would all be thin. Fact is losing weight is tough enough even without the effects of APs.

Best of luck! I’ve been in numerous of diets before so I know how difficult they can be (especially with meds) Way to go!! :sunglasses: :sunny:
