As of tomorrow I’m starting a new diet for multiple reasons

  1. I had to have my ring taken off today because it was so tight.

  2. My clothes don’t fit.

  3. My family is making comments about my weight

  4. I have health issues.

I’m getting some tests done Thursday that should tell me if there are certain foods I should avoid. In the meantime I’ll be restricting my calories.

Yeah good luck. I’ve found it’s mostly about eating good no matter what diet. Learning that discipline is hard for someone like me but if I can get there so can you. Wish you the best.

@anon55031185 , it’s healthy but I was eating about 1600 calories per day, which is too much for me,

Well don’t change diet. Continue the same diet just eat smaller portions. Are you hungry a lot?

No. I’m not hungry at 1600 calories, it’s just right as far as hunger goes. But I need to drop weight. Being obese is common on my dad’s side of the family, so it’s something I’ll always have to battle

I need to do this too.

It sucks that the meds mean that my metabolism is so slowed!

I gain wait over 1500 calories and the constant feeling of being hungry is annoying for me.

I am at a good weight but to maintain it takes constant effort and constant hunger.

It doesn’t surprise me that most medicated szs aren’t up to dieting all the time and are overweight. It really doesn’t take much to gain weight at all. Just the odd bowl of plain popcorn seems to put me over.

Diets are for life for those on APs.

Good luck with it.
