So I haven’t been sleeping well for the past 5-6 days. I sometimes take tylenol pm, but it usually doesn’t work maybe for half n he, then I’m back up. Plus it gives me restless leg syndrome n its not to good for the liver. I’ve gotten seriously depressed n maybe even suicidal cause of this. I just can’t get any rest, clozeral is the only so that helped me sleep, besides the side effect of feeling drunk when I first wake n the drooling at night it was a good ap. Anybody know of any med. That works good for insomnia wether it be a sleep aid or ap. Plus I started hearing voices again.
When I had trouble sleeping,
I asked my doctor for a short term prescription for Ambien.
It worked pretty well.
I’ve also heard good things about lunesta.
Call your doctor and see what they think will work best.

I take Saphris, it really helps me fall asleep, but it doesn’t help me stay asleep though.

Seroquel 25 mg -100 mg works for me. Also Vistaril and Trazadone.
I also take clozapine (clozaril) to sleep. 50 mg is enough for me to fall asleep.
Mirtazapine works for me. Sleep like I used to, only not as many hours.
I used to occasionally take Benadryl (the generic is Diphenhydramine) sometimes at night when I had really itchy skin due to allergies. Benadryl is an antihistamine and makes you quite drowsy so I was usually able to fall asleep pretty quickly.
