Wife: “No. I’m the one who’s God”.
Husband: “No. Me.
Wife: " No. Me"
Husband: " OK, how about this”? You can be God tonight and I’ll be God tomorrow”.
Wife: “I love you Steven”.
Husband: “And I love you too Doris”.
And they lived happily ever after.

But seriously, I know that some people with schizophrenia do get married. That’s a fact. I’m schizophrenic and I’ve never been married so I can’t talk from first-hand experience about what it’s like to be married to another schizophrenia. But I’ve heard of people with schizophrenia getting married and it can last for years. People with schizophrenia are capable of love just like most people so if you find the right person than you can try it.

they will understand each other when there angery and depress…a normal guy or girl will lie and say they understand too…but will u tell them ur SZ?

I’d say yeah… I think @mortimermouse was saying that’s 50% of their kids having sz… if that is their intention…
but yeah… why not… if they are both at the same level of understanding of the illness… or… you know …

If they’re past all the relapses and crap and they feel that they need someone to really connect with. That’s about the only way.

I find it beneficial to my own mental health to be around other people with mental illness, because I have a critical, oppositional personality. In other words it’s much easier for me to identify symptoms in other people than in myself. But what that ends up meaning is that if someone else has similar symptoms to me and I understand that, it makes it that much easier to ground myself. If Bob and I both sometimes get delusions that we are connected to supernatural beings, when it’s happening to Bob I’m going to know right away that it’s a delusion, but then that simultaneously means that it’s a delusion for me, too.
Not everyone seems to work this way, for some people it seems they can feed off of each other’s delusions, depression, anxiety, etc, but for me it’s actually more grounding. If I found someone who was similar, we would be mutually grounding for each other.

They were also telling me about the prophets and their true purposes. They just took some average ancient peeps and told them to write some stuff, some of it entailing advanced scientific knowledge for the tricks of it. But what they told them to write was the opposite of things. If they had written the truth none would read it without vomiting and then jumping off of a building, the real melkor â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– you know.
