My first marriage we were both delusional when we got married and when the psychosis broke I still loved her but she didn’t love me. long story…anyways…we made terrible financial choices while delusional and it ruined everything. I am married to a normal woman now and she is due praise because she talked me out of my portal spirit door. long time coming…I’ve believed that for about twelve years…so there’s that…she’s my reality.

Yeah I was married to a severely mentally I’ll woman and it didn’t work out.
We were both very unstable at the time.
Our marriage ended in divorce.

I would think it would depend somewhat on the level of functioning of the schizophrenic as well. You definitely don’t want two people in the middle of psychosis feeding off each other, but some us are free of positive symptoms and only have negatives remain. That would be my view on it. I don’t see two completely stable sz being a problem.

I am still 32y.o., have sz since 21y.o., but I feel like my time to have children is running out fast. I can’t date due to sz but its not my priority now, my health is my first priority. I almost had a kid when I was 20y.o. but I refused as I was young and still in university. Maybe it was my only chance to have children but I think I made a good decision as later I got sz and now I am disabled in bed. My kid would have been miserable because of me.

The man I’m seeing is a normie, and I recently found out his ex wife is sza. It now makes perfect sense at how unfaded he is by my psychosis. Apparently I’m not as crazy as her, but I also don’t think there’s a mood element to my “condition”.
I wouldn’t have discarded anyone with some kind of psychotic disorder, because I have one of my own, but I do think those normies who are understanding of us are a particular kind of incredible people.
