I’ve seen this thread before.
I used to think that people on TV were “dog-whistling” to me.
Oh! I used to think people on the streets were whistling at me. So creepy
ever watched an anime cartoon? they’re usually japanese but people dub the voice and change it to english - you look at the mouths moving and you can never tell it’s japanese - you just hear the english words and relate it to tthe mouths moving and think it was made in english. ; that’s schizophrenia for you - aka the truman show- you’ll just be seeing them talking, maybe turning to look at you, or maybe just see and angry face on them, and like the anime tv stuff, you’ll just convert there completely unrelated reasons for there actions and mouths moving to you dub version of schizophrenia - just like how the japanese change japan language to english without making a new completely english version

basically your just translating them to your schizophrenia language… but in reality, what there saying is completely different to what you think
@Moonwalker like really - it’s almost impossible to say - like the guy might be standing right infront of you, and unless you understand it’s a dub thing - you’ll always believe that truman show nonsense
Yeah, I felt for a time in was in some kind of Truman show. People always whistled when I walked on the streets which was code that I was around. Countless other delusions too. And not much fun
No, not exactly. Felt like I could be watched through the TV though. Sometimes, I believe I’m in the matrix so a lot of stuff could be possible. It is not healthy.
Yes, I had this one - I thought they were filming me from the air vents in my house …lol…then eventually the air vents at the hospital.
Funny how so many of. us have had similar twisted thoughts/fears.

Watched this show when I was about 13 and even though I did not have schizophrenia I was convinced that it was happening to me. I can remember sketching out in the shower room thinking where the cameras would be. I’m not sure if I was delusional or just a bit weird.
Me too. I also once believed that my thoughts were being broadcasted through the TV.
I used to think I was part of a tv show. But it wasn’t on the air yet or something. Honestly I don’t remember exactly but it was my very first delusion. Either this or thought I was an experiment. I got arrested that day.

I felt like everyone knows the screenplay but me.
I was a star of a TV show. It had grandiose elements
I thought i was a star but it was depicting my shitty ass life. So it may have been grandiose but I thought about myself negatively

I had the Truman show delusion…I think tonnes of schizos have that delusion…
