Treatment of cognitive deficits in schizophrenia

I think stimulants are the best option, imo. Caffeine and nicotine being my all time favourite. Even though they increase dopamine and may cause psychosis if taken too much, moderate intake can improve cognitive function

I’m on guanfacine. It does help a bit with concentration, but not a ton. That’s just me though. Stimulants do help, but can worsen psychosis. You do need a prescription for them in the united states. Probably everywhere else too.

@TheBest College diploma for computer programming. Never held down an actual job because I was DX’d shortly after receiving my diploma. I’m really into literature and writing stuff, so that’s what I do some days

@TheBest thanks man you too. Nicotine lozenges are awesome. For me, discreet application of nicotine without the nasty stuff in cigs

That’s a good question. I’m not too sure about that.

I doubt it. I’ve been on the lozenges for a long time and haven’t craved a cigarette. It was hard at first, but after your taste and smell improve I doubt you’ll want to smoke. But everyone’s different.

2mg, but heck, you can cut them in half and take 1mg or 0.5mg if that’s what you want.
