It flew over my cappuccino got caught in the steam and melted.
Sometimes I like to throw bugs into spider webs.
I feel that all life has value, but I admit it, I kill bugs because its easier than catching it and bringing it outside.
All life is precious, that goes for plants, flowers - trees. I feel bad about eating animals like chicken and fish but its a good source of protein, but so are eggs and beans. I am switching over to a semi-vegetarian diet, eating fish and chicken occasionally - no red meat -its just healthier for my fragile liver
I don’t like red meat or fish I stick to chicken
I think I could put those words into a melancholy piano-based song in the style of Elvis Costello:
"To-day, I watched a fly die,
Gone in an instant, though the coffee was ground,
Noticed by no-one, making no sound
Got stuck upside down and wriggled around
I don’t like red meat,
I stick to chicken, so much healthier for you,
But if it’s processed I’d rather eat glue,
Then again I’d get bunged up and stuck on the loo
I’d be just like that fly, that today I watched die."
Best wishes,
Padster
Just be grateful you had a cappuccino (I’m envious of that myself) Also you weren’t the fly.
I like that poem
It sounds so cool
But hey man
I feel like a fool
Rip little fly
Sorry that u had to die
It didn’t fall into the cappuccino, did it?
Yes it did but it wasn’t a nice cappuccino so I was glad I had the foam and chocolate on top
Riddle…
What do you call a fly with no wings?
A walk.
A fly lives so incredibly short, doesn’t know anything the whole time, and then just dies.
We’re alot like flies.
It’s why i don’t like watching the other creatures here die, because they are just like me in so many ways.
It’s like witnessing your own fate and very short life.
i am disturbed by that image…
take care
dear god please look after this fly in heaven with all it’s trillions of brothers and sisters.
amen
take care
When I was a little kid I would find dead flies and hold them in my hands and cry. My mom thought it was super weird but it just made me so sad.
I still like flies actually. I’m kind of affectionate towards insects for some reason, probably because they’re small and vulnerable and something most people look down on and see as less than nothing. Someone should care.
I do care about flies I was sad to see it die
When an irritating fly buzzes round the room it will go to window and I will get a towel and push it out the window but it fell into my cappuccino nothing I could do
When my brother was 10 he had two pet flies who he called Willma and Fred
Stir-fried insects?
