Today I watched a fly die

I just went vegan a few weeks ago
i’m not perfect, i bought a leather watch strap and a leather phone holder
i ate a normal bisucit
i had marshmallows
i had some chocolates
i had cheese once
that’s in 3 weeks
not bad going

i don’t think it’s easy to be a perfect vegan

I saw a fly land next to me in the bath yesterday. I wished it well
then later it was splatted next to the bath. I must have killed it.
I got upset for it. It just flew down and landed next to me like a little angel.
didn’t mean harm. little flys don’t do much damage if they are just one of them

our cats eat all the spiders and moths in the house, i don’t go out of my way to save them - but i stop them eating bees

You guys should read the book “Charlottes Web”. Its a compassionate take on life of a spider and a farm animal. Im sure if you read it, you would have compassion for animals and insects.

One of the most loving things I ever saw was when I was knocking down the shed in my back garden. There was a nest of woodlice. All the woodlice were running for their lifes. The most innocent thing I saw was these ugly insects being so unbelievably caring to their offspring/babies, carrying them to safety on their backs. They were so small and innocently cute.
