I was planning to start studying again in January but now I saw a vacancy that sparked my interest.
I think the combination of both will be impossible. Hence the question to work or to study?
What do you think?

I prefer studying to working repetitive menial jobs like cashiering/cleaning/dishwashing/etc.
So I say, depends on the job.
The study would be a MSc in Mental Health Science. The job would be as a calltaker for the DG Persons with a Disability.
I hope that clarifies my options.
In my country, mentally ill people are not allowed to care for people who are mentally ill other than case manager or peer support specialist
I would probably pick studying. But I am not you
Being involved with helping disabled seems like a nice thing to be a part of, so that sounds like a good option too.
I guess you could always put school on hold and try the work opportunity for now?
I say follow your gut
I wouldn’t in any case. The master would be as preparation to become a Mental Health researcher. The job would be to respond to calls of people with disabilities.
I agree. I think I will go for studying. I just saw the vacancy and got a bit enthusiastic, but now I have cooled down.
There will always be jobs but maybe this is my last chance at studying while receiving benefits.
If the course you’re studying trains you for the job, it’s totally worth it. But if you don’t get actual job trait might not be worth it since you’ll have to work your way up anyway.
I have a bachelors degree in Health Care Administration. However, I didn’t learn necessary skills like coding, billing etc and ended up never making more than $12/hr. It sucked.
I would Choose to study then it goes on your CV and then you could get really good job in the future
