I couldn’t vote because I don’t know your particular situation in depth.

Are you able to work?

I don’t know, it’s up to you

I judge from myself.
I’d rather be unemployed
and get benefits.
Work would stress me

I think your having a tough time. So you should live off benefits and focus on getting your mental health in better order then you could revisit the idea of working.

Last year i tried to jump back into work when i was unwell. I didnt know what the heck i should do for work.

I went through 4 jobs in 4 months. Then on my 5th job as I was getting a bit better i managed to find a job i like and could manage but also i was more mentally well to do it.

Do what makes sense in the day that you’re in with the situation you’re facing. Keep in mind that a problem you’re struggling with today can improve or be removed over time, so don’t view the decisions as permanent. You’re not locked in.

I find the idea of working not feasible.
Theres no shame if you are not cut out for work.

Theres also no reason why you cant do a bit of both - get some benefits and also have a part time job.

Give it a try you might be successful
I tried working quite a few times when o was younger and the voices came and I had to quit
I have no choice I cannot work

I worked even when working was very difficult up until I just couldn’t work anymore. I think that even if it’s difficult if you can work you should work.

Having worked, only made symptoms progressively worse.
Neglected everything else.
Now my job is manage SZ, life, health and planning daily and longterm goals.
On benefits.

I voted for both because that’s what you’ll be doing

I can’t really vote because I do both, but I voted work because if you are capable of doing that you should, but try and find a job you like, then it won’t seem like work nearly as much.

I am on disability but I work 2 jobs. The money I make each month from working has to be reported to disability and based on how much I make they deduct money from my disability payment.

The most important reason I am on disability is because it covers my medication costs. The money is very helpful too but meds are more important, without them I don’t think I could work.
