I think it was me. If you had DM’d me you r email then we both could have had a discount!

Have you calculated the daily calorie intake you are going to have yet? Each shake and meal is 400 calories.

I tried and didn’t like the meals very much. It is too mushy for me. I live off 3 shakes a day and a small meal plus fruit.

I have just bought an easy ready meal instead by zenb. They are pasta pots around 300 calories a pop made with yellow pea so it is gluten free for my coeliac needs.

If you don’t like the huel meals as I didn’t then try the zenb yellow pea pasta pots instead. DM me your email address and we can both get a reward as I can link you ‘refer a friend’.

Good luck with the diet! You may get a little flatulence as the microbiome adjusts with the new food.

I have been using huel for half a year now. It is only new users who qualify I think. If I’d recommeded your first order for example.

Thanks anyway. Are you in the UK?

I think the diet works because it is nutritionally balanced and doesn’t leave you body craving for essential vitamins that other diets often do.

@labratmat my huel arrived this morning and today has been my first day using it. I enjoy the meals. I am unsure of the shakes. Its been a successful day ive only yad 1200 calories. I am going to stick with it.

Great! The opposite of me lol I love the shakes!

It was a slow and gradual weight loss for me. It took me 6 months to lose 9kg, so don’t get disheartened if it is slow weight loss! That only works out at 1.5kg a month in loss which is not a lot. I was on 1400-1500 calories a day as a male which is acceptable.

Most people not on APs lose weight considerably faster, but slow and steady win s the race.

Congrats on the weight loss. I dont mind if it comes off slowly. Just need to stop gaining and start loosing. Besides the dr said its better if you loose slowly.

@Qwerty

How is the huel diet going? Have you lost any weight at all? Are you able to maintain the diet? Do you get hungry?

@labratmat not very well. My blood sugar has been dropping and making me feel ill.

1200 calories is too little for me. Try adding fruit perhaps. That is what I did plus a small meal.

I’m sorry it may not be working out for you.

What calorie intake were you on before you switched? A sudden change might not be good for you.

I have a bathroom scale which measures my base calorie intake level, so it is easy to measure how many calories to reduce by. Perhaps, that is a better measure for how many calories you should be getting.

Are you diabetic type 2? This may be a problem for you. What does your gp say?

I feel bad for recommending this.

What worked for me, may of course not work for others, as in this case.

Swap 1 meal rather than 3 meals perhaps, and don’t live on it like me. Huel don’t recommend a complete hueligan diet in their website.

Sorry,

Dont feel bad for recommending jt. I decided to buy some healthy food today and mix it up a bit with the huel. That way my blood sugar doesnt drop.
