So I’m trying to lose weight. Have y’all ever had those keto candy bars? Do the manufacturers of those things think we can’t figure out that those things don’t actually taste good?

They make these cheese wraps. You use them in place of bread wraps for a sandwich. They’re pretty yummy.
I don’t know Loke, we are always searching for the ideal quick fix diet. Just today I have been researching the potato only diet and out of desperation I think I will try it, at least until my Lite n Easy meals start getting delivered.
The potato only diet is supposed to kick start you into healthy eating by eating only potatoes for two weeks. One man ate only potatoes for a whole year and his health had never been better.
I heard this. I tried it, and it didn’t work for me. I feel like the only success stories I heard were from men, but please let us know if it works – I’d love to try it.
No but I want start losing weight. I eat lost of sugary carbs. My super weakness. Not sure if I can stop sugar. The Keto diet sounds good. Heard a lot of people worked for them.
It can be done. I’m not saying it’s easy. I often crave the wrong food but I ask myself if it’s worth it. I mean I had pizza yesterday and today but I’m going to try again.
Psychology today recently published an article about the benefits of a keto diet for those with schizophrenia. Its a small study but it was an interesting read.

You can do cyclic keto 5 days low carbs, 2 days carbs… 5 days low calories like 1200, 2 days medium like 1500 or so…
On the off days do not have heavy carbs it will kick you out of ketosis.
Dark chocolate is fine on keto… the keto snacks are blah instead I would have “two2good” yogurt with 3 medium strawberries when i wanted something like a treat. The yogurt is 80 calories and 3 grams carbs … the vanilla flavor taste like vanilla cake. The coconut one is good too…
You can have seltzer water, zero sugar flavored water, pink lemonade crystal light is 2 or 3 g of carbs.
There is keto bread but I had the xtreme wellness tortillas they are 4g of carbs and high in fiber.
Drink lots of water… water with lemon is good too
You can make keto cheese garlic bread…I’ll look for the recipe I used…
I did straight keto… I had no pizza even though there is cauliflower pizza… cauliflower rice is okay too… get a food scale to weigh portions of cheese, meat and so on…
But try to keep things very low in carbs… 15-30g of carbs per day. Use a carb calculator to track the amount…
Good fats avocado, bacon is okay too… ground beef 90/10 or 85/15… I had a lot of chicken caesar salads no croutons with zero sugar dressing…
Zero sugar creamer or half and half in coffee… monkfruit sugar alternative tastes just like sugar.
I saw the top 50 diets rated. The Mediterranean diet and the Dash Diet got the highest marks. The Keto Diet was way down the list. Don’t take my word for it; if you’re going to pick a diet, do your research. The Keto diet is not practical or safe if you want to lose a lot of weight. But if you want to lose a little weight, it’s good for that.
