So I’m sort of most of the way there with all this healthy living I’ve been doing. Only real difference is that I’ve still been eating carbs and not much fat but I can see the effects especially with all the exercise.
Anyways. I’ve been having a good look at it and I’m going to try and see how I go with it over the next couple of weeks. I’m pretty confident I can still eat enough variety and enjoy eating still and there’s plenty of good recipes. Takes a lot more work but time is something I have plenty of.
So today was payday and fixed up all my bills and we ended up having a burger from the shop up the road. Good, gourmet burgers at a good price but I realise I will be letting some things go like bread and tortillas but hey. It’s worth a shot. Will let you know how I go!
Keto made me constipated. You do lose a lot of weight though. Do you research before going on this diet. There are numerous books on this diet. I recommend you buying one.
Yeah I’ve read up a lot on it and just cleaning up my diet I’ve gotten great results already. I think the key is exercise. Keto you’ll lose but it’s burning the fat as energy. I’ve kinda been doing similar anyways so I’m curious to see how far I can push it.
As with any diet I’ll make it fit me and I’ve the time to make it work so will see.
I started keto 2 days ago. I tried it before for 2 weeks and 6 days, but I gave up. This time I’ve decided to give it at least 3 months, as from what I’ve read that’s how long it can take to get fully fat adapted. (and also according to dr. chris palmer that is the amount of time it can take to potentially have an antipsychotic effect). I will not quit this time. I’m only paranoid of getting kicked out of ketosis for some reason, even though most people say if you eat under 20g carbs you’re guaranteed to be in ketosis, but then I saw this video where the guy said that too much coffee can kick you out of ketosis, so that’s something I’m paranoid about, I will drink a smaller cup of coffee instead from now on.
I’ve been searching on forums like reddit and most people say coffee isn’t a problem. Conflicting information, I don’t know what to make of it, but it still makes me paranoid.
I think I’m going to trust that one medium-small cup of coffee won’t do anything to ketosis and just keep having it every morning.
