Tips on how to go out when you think people are surveiling you?

In 2 weeks I have been out to the health centre on 2 occasions. Both times the same woman in the same car has been parked outside. If you ask me I think she is from the department of work and pensions but my doc insists these beliefs are untrue.

So in an attempt to accept my doctors suggestion I ask how do you improve leaving the house when you think agents of government are railing you?

I dont wanna fuel your delusions @anon94176359.

If you think someone is spying on you, chances are you’re battling anxiety just as hard as you’re battling that delusion.

See if you can cope with your anxiety first.

Hope this helps.

They go hand and hand, one aggravates the other and vice versa.

You just have to tell yourself it’s not true and console yourself and get a grip on your emotions. Tell yourself over and over again that it’s not possible. Your brain tells you 100 times you’re being surveilled you have to tell yourself 200 times you are not. Soothe yourself.

@anon94176359 can’t you see if you can get your meds adjusted? you shouldn’t have to deal with paranoia as much as you do…

Beat them to the punch and surveil them first.

All I can say is I started going out a lot after my paranoia went away and nobody nabbed me or recorded me. So I guess you have to just tell yourself you’re not in danger. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, it’s a rough symptom. I felt like I was living in another world entirely back when I had it.
