this might be a triggering post and I apologize if it is, but I got asked today if I believe in ghosts and I said yes. my mother in law is under the impression that all ghost are evil since if they were good they would have gone directly to heaven when they died. she wants her granddaughter prayed over but her son said he doesn’t believe in that and doesn’t want to encourage his daughter to be scared of ghosts.
I believe in ghost some evidence is hard to ignore but most is explainable.

Medical science can always provide evidence that schizophrenia is our brains hallucinating like an overactive brain region where we get our hearing from, proof of synapses going off when the voices speak, and the brain damage found in many people with schizophrenia. But there will always be things about the World that science can’t explain like what happens to our conscious mind when we die that will always make us question what certain things are about. Are our voices really due to a brain abnormality or are we created in a way that spirits can talk to us? I guess the main argument against the latter is that we are not usually very effective in functioning in society when we do so if ghosts had a purpose for us we certainly have a difficult time achieving it. On the other hand maybe they are teaching people ways to garner information though psychological torture during wartime because the tactics are similar to what the voices in my head have used.
I don’t know about ghosts but I do beleive in spirits. I have spirits that exist in me they are attached to worldly things like sex and money very unhealthy for me since they are evil I hear them and they speak through me. I have also seen spirits that’s look like people.
I saw a ghost dog once a great pyranese well I saw its back half…so ghost dog butt…but my gf saw it’s top half and watched it disappear so ghost check…
I’m still not sure if the “voices” I heard from 14-19 were voices, or ghosts. But I heard them whenever I was alone. And they played music.
When I heard voices at 20, I knew they were voices…not ghosts
my partner is the one who had the ghost experience. she was running along the upstairs track at her high school alone and she heard foot steps running behind her. supposedly her first high school is notoriously haunted. I recorded a ball of light zooming past the phone camera.
I do believe that it’s possible that spirits exist but surprisingly I don’t have very much hallucinations or delusions involving them.
I HATE ghosts. I lent Casper my car to run to the store for some ice cream and he didn’t come back for three days.
Not sure how I feel about ghosts? I believe in ‘Collective Consciousness’ and I believe our consciousness continues to exist after we die but since it is just the consciousness and not the body, I’m not sure about the ghost part. I have had a couple experiences that I would have sworn were ghosts when I was younger but now that I am older (and on meds, haha) I think it very well may have been explainable by other circumstances.
