I think there is some corelation between a family history of sz and the occurance of sz in individuals, but not a super strong one.
My aunt, cousin, and father all have some kind of sz or sza. And I got it too. Now I’m the only grandchild with some kind of sz or sza. So the genetics isn’t very strong in some cases but in mine its there.
