I talked to my therapist about if it would be possible for me to work remotely after seeing you mention it in another post.

I would love to be able to shoot myself too!! I don’t know if my Brian is up for the challenge but I took want to work

Do you know how much those degrees cost?

From my experience people in law firms have to work very long hours. It’s a lot, even for people with no health issues.

I actually don’t know the cost but the programs I’ve seen are 30 credits

What jobs can you do with an MS in legal studies?

Clerking, human resources admin, other things

I’m still doing research

Any other things you consider?

For HR Admin and Clerking I don’t think you need a Masters.

Do you already have a Bachelors and in which field?

I have a bachelor’s in art and philosophy

I’m trying to jumpstart my entry into the field with an education rather than 3+ years experience

I know that a fancy degree can help to jumpstart a career, but the question is if you can handle the pressure. I know that it’s impossible for me to work full time in a demanding career.

What do you think that you can handle realistically?

I’m hoping I could maybe get legal secretary type work for a firm, remote.

Do you really need an advanced degree for that?

Maybe you can start by volunteering as an admin for an organization and built experience, a network and references.

Yeah that’s not a bad idea.

Are you interested in the above degree?

I donno some say just get an MLS because I already have a BA. But I think it would equip me to work from home as a paralegal. And I can do the degree from home.
