Have anyone quit caffeine or cut down? Did you feel calmer?
sometimes you can experience withdrawals and headaches, but after working through it, i felt much better
I felt much better after I quit. But I was kind of addicted so started again
I’m trying to at least cut it down to 3 cups a day now.
I cant quit caffeine as its beneficial for me and reduces meds sedation. I tried stopping it and everytime I ended up sleeping too much waking up at 3-4pm, sleeping from 11pm. I started drinking caffeine since being on Risperdal which makes me sleep all day.
I’m free of caffeine.
I am addicted to caffeine, and therefore, when I was using I was constantly planning how to get it.
A caffeine addiction costs money, as well!
I’ve noticed that I feel a bit calmer in the evening (if I’m not imagining it). Maybe it’s because there’s less caffeine in my system from the morning coffee.
I drink a cup with two heaping teaspoons of instant coffee. Then I drink a green tea. I know, it’s not much, but I think I’m maybe going to try slowly tapering down a bit to just one teaspoon.
i think that weening is a great strategy!
Had too much coffee the past week, then the Keurig broke yesterday so I had a terrible headache this morning. Found a pot of old fashioned coffee Im on my third cup lol. Caffeine headaches are terrible. But I do need to cut back, even three cups a day seems to be a bit too much.
I’m going through the same thing. I need to cut down and over. You’ll make it.
I’m finishing the coffee I have left then I’m only going to drink tea.
Love my caffeine — tea espresso and nodoz get me through my mornings
I always drink something with caffeine. I do it since years. My favorite is black tea with lemon and sugar. Or an peach ice tea. Most of the time I drink lemon tea which comes in powder form. I would be drinking water but it tastes horrible with cigarettes.
I’m really hard tea addict.
Three times a day is the regular dose I believe. This was my starters amount too, but then I turned to tea.
