The unfortunate things about sleeping pills

If you have insomnia, you well know the Serrano.
You think about what sleeping pills to take at 10.30pm so that you can get to sleep before midnight.
Should I take a short acting one like Zolpidem, Zopliclone, Triazolam or ir Seroquel, and wake up at 4am and not feel tired in the morning.
Or should I take a long acting one and sleep till 7am and feel tired all morning.
Insomnia sucks!

I always go for the zopilclone so I don’t feel tired for all of the next day. Insomnia sure does suck.

I only have Truxal and Seroquel, so I always have to think about how late it is because they’ll make me sleep for ages and be a zombie half the next day.

I really feel for people who have insomnia.

When I turn the lights off I’m out like a log

Insomnia sure does suck! I take Seroquel and Melatonin at around 9 pm and get into bed around 1200 midnight. I fall asleep around one half hour later and I wake up around 4 am. So, I get 3 or 4 hours of sleep there. I take my Geodon in the morning at 3 am and then 4 hours later it knocks me out at around 8 am and I then sleep in until around 1 pm. So, that gives me the 9 hours of sleep that I require. I do this every darn night. My pdoc told me he doesn’t know what to do about it. Taking a prn Klonipin at 9 pm doesn’t help matters.
