LS! I just had my blood checked. 36 measurements were done on my blood. My vitamin D level was 82, pretty much optimal. I take daily 2000 IU vitamin D3 and get some sunshine.
I started pounding vitamin D when COVID started over a year ago because your immune system works better when primed with D. No noticeable improvement with my positive or negative symptoms that I’m aware of. I ran out three weeks ago and didn’t bother re-upping now that I’m vaxxed and walking at least an hour a day in the sun and, again, haven’t noticed a difference.
Be careful. Doses above 4000 IU/day may be dangerous in the long term. Take care not to overdose, check the levels in the blood.
