The meat thing ran it's course

back to being vegetarian for awhile. as I’ve said before I was previously vegan for 6 out of the last 7 years. after a hospitalization I stopped struggling against society and started eating meat again. I tried to keep it to fish but im getting sick of fish. maybe it’s because it’s canned, that’s really all I can afford at the moment though. but anyways im going back to 3 salads a day and a few servings of bean. i’ll still get plenty of protein about 60-70grams a day.

to be honest I don’t know if this new way of eating will be better for me. i was feeling pretty good and had few symptoms on the fish whereas I was hearing voices constantly last time I went vegan. but this time I will be on my meds so I think I should be fine.

i’ll get plenty of fruits and veggies, some nuts and seeds, and beans. i worry i’ll be on the pot all the time with all the fiber.

anyways the meat thing ran it’s course, i don’t consider myself vegan though, because i eat meat at family gatherings and sometimes when my mom invites me over for dinner. i just try to make sure the meals i prepare are plant based.

Beans can be on the toxic side. If they’re canned I think they’re ok but all others should be boiled for 10 min at least

yeah i eat chickpeas out of the can and sometimes black beans. i can usually eat those without getting gassy so i figure im ok on them. will probably also include some lentil soup frequently. i had a can of amy’s lentil soup today and it was really good. and didn’t have to cook.
