The controversy of Stephen King?

For fans of his film adaptations, I must recommend Dr. Sleep, the sequel to The Shining.

Honestly I’ve never read anything by them. I started the Dark Tower but didn’t really grab me. I am going to get a book next payday though in a fortnight. Must give an educated opinion so thanks for all the suggestions.

His books have hit the bestsellers over and over again so I suppose there’s something to be said about that.

I enjoy some of his books, even The Eyes of the Dragon which was more like a dark fantasy.

I’m just getting back into reading now. Do you like John Grisham? I’m reading The Firm, now.

That’s a great read. Kind of a neat 70s take on the vampire lore. It’s a little difficult to keep track of all the different characters in the beginning, but eventually all the minor characters get sorted out.

Highly recommend. It’s one of my faves by King.

It’s also getting a new film adaption in 2023! I’m super excited for it! If it’s half as good as Doctor Sleep or IT 2017, then it’ll be a good time at the theater.

Nice! I thought I saw a blurb or article about the new Salem’s Lot movie. I bet it’s going to be really good.

The old TV miniseries they made about it that was directed by Tobe Hooper is pretty good too.

Um, well, having seen Maximum Overdrive, I’m inclined to agree that some do overs would help.
