Does anybody else here love horror? Lets talk about your favorite horror movies, books, video games, or anything else horror related.
I just finished haunting of hill house on netflix. I loved it but it made me very depressed for a short time so I would throw out a major trigger warning if you suffer from depression or are susceptible to feeling emotions from media.
Pet Sematary is my favorite Stephen King book and I’m excited for the new movie that comes out in April.

Stephen King makes up half the books I’ve ever read. I have been a huge fan of Nightmare on Elm Street since I was a child. My favorite one is the fifth one, the Dream child. I’m also nutty for Hellraiser, a new one is on Netflix, it’s so-so. Also all the Saw movies, especially the one about health care.
I love horror movies! Had to go half a year without them when I was triggerable, but I don’t have those issues anymore. The new It was the perfect example of a soft-core horror flick that is still scary. I can’t wait to see John Lithgow in Pet Sematary.

What was your favorite shark movie? Jaws is my all time favorite film ever.

Yeah Jaws is a classic. I liked Deep Blue Sea, although it was a little corny.

I’d watch the first one and see how you feel about it. It’s less gory than the sequels and is more of a thriller than a pure horror film.

Is that the one with LL Cool J?

I dont mind gore, I dont actively seek to watch it but I dont turn it off either.
Are you excited for IT chapter 2 coming out later this year? I loved the first chapter.
Yes, the grown-up version. I’m hoping that will make it feel more adult. I’ve seen the old 90’s tv series that covers the whole book. Have you seen that one? I caught it on Lifetime Network of all places, many years ago.
I saw that one I liked it a while ago but upon the last viewing I realized it hasnt aged well. Still not bad, just needed some updating.
I like the horror genre but I stay away from anything that has to do with demonic stuff I’m start thinking about it at night and be like damn y did I watch that and I’ll turn on all the lights and wait til morning to get some sleep lol
I love horror. My novel is a zombie apocalypse story. Book 2 is considerably darker and in progress.

I think you are right. I forgot about him.
I’m reading The Tommyknockers now. But I love horror movies. I bought The Stand yesterday and though the film quality isn’t great I still like it. Otherwise I love the Hellraiser series I thought the most recent one was fantastic. The first one was cutting edge when it came out. Oh and I love Poltergeist too.

Would you wanna share the title of your novel or do you not want it known here?
Blood Burn my pen name is je fletcher Is give free copies but my publisher controls that. It’s on Amazon. I don’t get royalties because I got ripped off, but if enough people like it I will have a fan base for book 2
That is terrible you dont get royalties, I’m sorry. I’ll definitely give it a like on amazon.

I should have also probably mentioned Event Horizon. Probably my favorite standalone horror movie (no sequels).
