I’ve twisted all up to where I could barely walk when they put me on a large dose of Haldol before. They put me on cogentin, and it took care of my problem. Cogentin is very good for side effects like that. I’m happy to hear that your tremors are better.

How many mg do you take @PinCushion ? Did you just start

.5 mg.I just began last night.

i use to take cogentin. they prescribed it for td but it does nothing for td, its only really useful for other EPS

Thanks @PinCushion im on the same for years for tremors - Glad its working.

My tremors are back. I will ask my pdoc if I can take double.

I noticed that the tremors will return if I feel pressured. But it is much easier to relax and let them stop, now.

Yeah i don’t notice it when i am alone, i can pick a cup up normally, prepare food. But in front of people the tremors are so bad and embarrassing.

So you think stress anxiety pressure?

Without a doubt.

I took cogentin for decades. Last year it gave me dry mouth. Dry mouth is a breeding ground for tooth decay and it ended up costing me thousands of dollars in dental bills. I don’t take it anymore. Whoever takes it should be aware it might cause a dry mouth.

Happy 4 u!!!

There are meds for dry mouth. I would recommend taking them if you have issues because of it. Dental work is expensive. I know from experience.

I’ve used side effects pills for the past 30 years and they’ve really done the job well.
