have you or are presently taking two antipsychotics at one time? Are you being treated for treatment resistant so or sza? Have you tried clozapine ?
I took two antipsychotics when I was weened off of risperdal and put on ablilify. I had the clearest head when I was on both. It’s a shame my pdoc wouldn’t let it continue.
How long were you on both?
about 2 months. I really liked the combination, but my doctor feared complications
I am on Invega now the pdoc had to lower my dose due to complications, which is risperdal amped up to a 24hr dose. He is having me come in on Thursday, Abilify is one of the last ones for me to try besides clozapine.
I have found that abilify is a love it or hate it drug. I fall in the love it group. Not many people who think it is just okay.
I think I would like to try it all the same.
I say go for it.
