Things can change over time.
After having experienced inhuman and atrocious pain I can assure you that the worst diseases are those that make you experience that daily or those that make you die after some months.
I see, hear and feel sh1t. 
And, I have paranoia (not as bad as some) and negative symptoms too! But, as the spectrum goes, I’m not as disabled by it all as some. I’m very lucky and my life has been blessed in many ways.
Considering how things could have gone, or stopped altogether, I’m doing pretty well.
seeing sh1t is part of my symptoms. I drawn in them, yet I didn’t commit suicide. well, I did once but failed.
I met and befreinded a guy with cerebral palsy at my last hospital stay. He seemed pretty sharp, just had some mild movement related issues. He lived in a group home and had friends.
One really bad disease is Rett syndrome, I learned about it on the Newron website while searching evenamide. It strikes young girls and is extremely rare. The symptoms are ten times worse than schizophrenia and there is no treatment for this lifelong disease.
