I hope other countries follow suit, including mine.

I really enjoy the app, it’s always been giving me Vine vibes.

Have u ever used Vine back in the day ? It’s a lot like that.

It’s just scrolling through a bunch of videos clips, and the feed is based on your preference.

From Google;

Vine and TikTok are both social media apps that allow users to create and share short videos. However, they differ in their content, monetization, and length.

Content

  • Vine: Focused on short comedy sketches
  • TikTok: Includes a music library and allows users to create videos of up to a minute long

Monetization

Vine

Earned money from ad revenue but didn’t have a program to reward creators

TikTok

Has a monetization program for creators

Length

  • Vine: Videos were limited to six seconds
  • TikTok: Videos can be up to a minute long

History

Vine

Founded in 2012 by Dom Hofmann, Rus Yusupov, and Colin Kroll

TikTok

Merged with Musical.ly in 2018, keeping the TikTok name

I think TikTok will go dark tomorrow, but it will be back up within 3 months.

You can probably get a VPN and just keep using it.

I don’t get the point in VPNs.

Cant your ISP still track what U do, even if it’s through a VPN ?

are they banning it all together like even using it ? or just stopping people from being able to make a living off it or uploading?

They can see you’re connected to the VPN, but not where you come out or what you’re doing. On the other end people only see where you came off the VPN network, not where your traffic originated including which country.

I feel mixed about this. I briefly tried or used TikTok and didn’t really see the point of it.

Have good day sir.
