Starting Caplyta tonight

My doctor tried to get me to switch to Caplyta.

I declined because I feel pretty good on my current med regimen.

Why would your doctor want you to switch from a med you’re doing fine on to a med with so many unknowns?

I’ve always had a hard time switching meds unless it was for a good reason.

I don’t know why.

I think he just wanted to experiment with this new drug, honestly.

I’d hope that’s not the case, but I really think it is.

Well, first day is in the books. I took it at night, like I was told to. I didn’t feel anything after I took it and I struggled to go to sleep as I usually do. Today I feel a little more clear-headed. It’s so early it’s hard to tell, but at least nothing bad has happened.

I’ll continue to keep y’all updated.

I took it for 3 or 4 weeks. Did nothing. Diddily squat. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Nada.

Darn, I was thinking of asking the psych. doctor to switch me to caplyta. Olanzapine hasn’t been suppressing the voices for me.

You know this drug work on some people and not on others right, you also touted niacin as a cure-all when others had debunked it before.

I didn’t say niacin was a cure.

Caplyta is full of crap, don’t trust the positive reviews, I think there’s more to it.

This drug is simply getting your hopes up. It failed trials but they kept pushing it. It’s money making crap.
