I just took my first Caplyta

At 2pm. They seem to be really sedating, and my mouth is dry. I don’t know how well they are going to work on my positive symptoms though

Got to give it time. 24 hours is too early and you know the routine. Hang in there and let the medications work and any side effects note to tell your doctor.

They’re actually quite playful and other animals like them.

Hey all. I just woke up, and I feel pretty good right now. I don’t seem to be too sedated. It looks like I’m just going to have to take the Caplyta at bedtime as it really knocks me out. I slept really well on it.

Has anyone had sexual problems on Caplyta?

What other medications have you taken before caplyta? Wish you the best.

Haldol, Zyprexa, Risperdal, Abilify

How long did it take to get out of your system?

I just had my second dose of Caplyta last night. I slept really well, and wasn’t as groggy this morning as the first night. The dry mouth was just as bad though.

I think I’m going to be happy on Caplyta, but I should probably wait two or three months to see how it holds up treating my positive symptoms.

Hope y’all feel better. It was always anxious taking a new med.

Thanks @roxanna. I’m doing better now. I was really worried about switching about being worse off than I was on Abilify.
