Hey guys. I got put on a low dose of caplyta for flat affect and motivation. Been on it for a week and a half still dont feel very different. Anyone have experience with this med??

That’s not going to be enough to cover your symptoms.

I’m on some very strong meds. For the positives as well. I got an awakening after having got an antipsychotics correction that made me blue. After having done some research I found an antidepressant made in 1996 called Mirtazapine. I red some research papers about
a short small trial where the researchers tried to combine it with Haldol. The test persons PANSS scores where reduced with 20 % after the introduction of Mirzapine . The negative scale of the PANSS were on average reduced with 4 points (12 %) so I’ve asked the dioctor to try this antidepressant for half a year and will get called back about it tomorrow. In case of calypta you must be pacient and wait up to 6 weeks before it rocks the boat(treats the negatives)

@everhopeful is right, I am on this drug. It helps a lot with my negative symptoms, and really makes life more normal.

@mboston117 I’ve been on caplyta for going on two weeks and I’ve noticed a huge difference already! I can read again, things look different, my mom has wrinkles, my husband is skinnier and apparently these things have always been this way like what!?
I’m about to be decreased on abilify from 15mg to 10mg Wednesday I go to 10mg
Things are different in good ways seeing things as they are are scary but that’s what I’ve gone through different people have different experiences
