Started at the gym this am

Almost had a lot of fun… didn’t take it too seriously for a change
Not pushing to exhaustion
Not comparing myself (I’m 42)
It takes less speed to go into intense mode and for the first time didn’t try and get in red zone for an 18 year old

Non competitive
Just there for myself
Seems I’ve grown up

Are you going to go regularly? I’ve only been to a gym once in my life and didn’t go back.

Good for you!! The gym is excellent place to energize your body. I have a gym membership and I don’t use it as frequently as I should. But I love running on the treadmill and lifting weights. I feel wore out after but that’s a good thing.

I wanted to go to gym today, but I’ve got a callus on my left foot and it’s hurting a lot when I walk (I played indoor soccer yesterday, that’s why I got a callus). I’ll go to Pilates tomorrow though. I hope my callus get better.

Hi yes x it’s just down the hill from where I live
Want to average 3 or 5 hr weeks

Have never used the modern machines where both sides of eg a pec press are two sided, so it takes strength brain and balance which is really fun!

5 mins on 4 different cardio and then 6 machines

Will increase to 7.5 mins - 10 on each to get half hour in or so

bit limited now and will only do what I can
Preferred running yoga cycling skiing swimming walking etcetera all my life but have not had a regular habit of exercise for a couple of years
Generally I work out 4 times a week, 1 - 3 hours but I have breaks so only 2/3 of my adult life

Yes I understand
am hoping I can get back to really regular exercise
It’s a good gym

When I was training Kung Fu I had the urge to eat more. I exercised then I thought because of that I could eat tons of food. I was on olanzapine though. Now I’m on aripiprazole and I can control myself better. I eat 3 in 3 hours. It helps me not eating a lot.

Olanzapine is like that
Not on it now but
I’m bigger than ever but I think it’s habit not meds
Don’t think I knew how to binge before
