Doing exercise and stop eating processed/sugar foods and drinks is a very good health improvement

I think for me it’s a very similar situation to when I gave up smoking: I had to find something I enjoyed more than smoking and that was listening to really good music so I transitioned to buying used CDs instead of cigarettes. Now I am thinking I need to try a new hobby or job that is in the sweet spot between boredom and stress. I mostly eat or smoke when I am not focused on doing something else other than ruminating. I have started watching more interesting educational videos on YouTube but I try not to blame myself if I don’t catch or understand everything.
