i think i have been approved medically but this is the non-medical portion i have to be eligible for (which I am)
I bet I donât make it to 65 anyway. Life sucks!
No, SSI is welfare SSID is Disability.
no, not at all. My son with Down syndrome is on SSI,
and got it age 6 months. Itâs a condition he was born with.
I have been researching this for months. I know alot about SSI lol
alright, thatâs all Repub bull crap.
The disabled have rights, and should make them known.
To get on disability you just need to see a lawyer, fill out a questionnaire, have someone who knows you fill out one for them and give your drâs info. Thatâs all I remember doing and I was approved in 3 months
I got in touch with a lawyer just to review my case when i first applied for ssi. I was told they would advise for free since I hadnât been denied yet.
I got ssi after two months of applying. But I get reviewed every 3-4 years
Welfare program, my ass!
The marginalized, the left behind, the incapable, yeah, born with disability,
trying living it!
Its basically welfare for disabled people. I know the word is stigmatised but thatâs what it is. just look it up. Im not knocking it because i need to get on it.
You donât NEED a lawyer, but it sure does help.
in my case, I think the gov understood the limitations of raising a child with Down syndrome
or letâs say, autism, or any other naturally producing condition.
Yeah, they gave us a check, because a little bit of money is deserved.
That is true, but they also deny deserving people even when given irrefutable evidence. Im glad you got it though.
My son is an adult now, and has his own check
but letâs say raising him I worked a great sales job, and made 50K a year
theyâd deny me his money. Never made more than 11 dollars an hour.
They can call it welfare, most parents raised raising a disabled child can barely make it.
