My SSDI is being reviewed

Because I’m working part time. They want me to fill out paperwork and send in my pay stubs. I’m very hopeful I don’t lose it. I only make $600-800 per month and work and average of 12 hours per week. Plus my dr told me not to go off disability

I hope everything works out for you. :speak_no_evil::speak_no_evil::speak_no_evil:

I hope that because you are working they actually raise it. It happened to someone I used to know.

They shouldn’t take it away over that little. I make about $1000 on top of my SSDI and have been fine so far. I even got it while never had been unemployed

I made between $700-$900 for 4 years and worked 16 1/2 hours per week and was on disability the whole time and went through a couple reviews. Now for the past 10 months I’ve made between $500-$800 a month and work 12 hours a week and collect disability. Got reviewed about 3 months ago and still collect SSDI. They told me I could stop sending in my pay stubs every month a few years ago.

In my country, if you even work for 1h they take away your disability. I can’t even study or go to school without getting my disability revoked.

They just want you to sit at home and rot away.

I received a whole packet of questions including the nature of my employment, job duties, and requests for pay stubs. I haven’t gone through all the pages yet so I don’t know what else might be included @irrelevant

If they have a section for comments, just say you can’t work full time and support yourself because of your symptoms but you are able to work part time but it’s still hard. They may have a section where you can make comments, they may not, but if they ask me, I tell them exactly what I wrote.

My disability is also being reviewed as I have informed social security of my plans to study abroad.
Still waiting on the outcome.

good luck with the review @LilyoftheValley but based on the other posters you should be alright.

I went back to work but I am making a lot of money. They are going to take me off again most likely.

I got an aviation job and may even get a better one. I called yesterday trying to find out how many trial work periods I have but no one ever answered.

I reported going to work 3 weeks ago and the lady told me I was still in my five year period from the last time I did this. And she told me I only worked for the IRS for like a month and it was 2 years and 7 months. I went off completely so I am definitely not still in my trial work period. She was smoking crack.

I finally got that job with the FAA I applied for last April. Took a long time. I think I had the thread deleted because I was paranoid i wasnt getting the job.

They just did a very thorough background check.

I am pretty happy. If I get the better job the training period is 24 months so they won’t figure out I am a bag of rocks for at least that long. This job I have the first year is all training. So probably no red flags for a while.

But no way to tell. Good luck.

I am at $77,900 a year right now but if I get that other job probably go up more. This isn’t specifically a pilot job so I am way over qualified. It maybe I can handle it then. But the other one is.

The last time I did this I got 12 months of benefits still. The 9 month of trial work and then 3 more.

I haven’t logged in in a while.

All the best. Hope everything is well.
