They broke the lock, but were unable to unlock it completely. I am alone with the kids all day. I am already suffering from paranoia, so this is making my anxiety even worse. I baked some muffins for the kids to get my mind off of things, but I’m still anxious. I am so stressed out I felt a strong urge to be suicidal. The doctor is already adjusting my medications, and I see him next week. I think I need a good laugh. Know any jokes?

It happened when we were at my pdoc…the irony there is amazing isn’t it? Anyway, I made chocolate chip muffins for the kids. They loved them and it made them less worried. My dad came and fixed the lock today so the house is secure again. I hope, anyway.

o no. how scary for you. we had a robbery in the neighborhood a couple summers ago. some kids they caught. hope you start feeling better. my sympathies @anon78876561

That’s awful! My apartment was broken into and burglarized twice last year, ten days apart. For a while I slept with a butcher’s knife under my pillow and a tire iron next to my pillow. It’s an awful feeling.

I’m glad you are all safe! My neighborhood is sketchy. I just bought a camera that tells me when someone comes to my door. I can access it even when I’m not home via my phone. It also lets you talk to the people at the door.

My aunt got cameras that points to her driveway and front door.
I think we will be doing the same thing.
