as a nutritionist we base it off of your bmi or body mass index. that is the ratio of height to weight. Typically the bodyfat accumulation around the belly is the worst fat in the body and is said to lead to down the road medical proble,s like diabetes high cholesterol metabolic syndrome etc.

bmi isn’t the best thing to determine a healthy weight it is ok but they don’t really account for muscle like athletes like lebron james who are some of the most athletic people alive he actually is overweight if u use a bmi calculator or chart i think the best thing would be to find your body fat percentage unless you dont wanna measure than a bmi chart is an ok estimate
I think staying active is more important, even if over weight a bit. The old saying a body in motion, stays in motion
