Smoking misshap

After months of not smoking I gave in to temptation and brought a pack. This is what it looks now. What a waste of money. Anybody here successfully quit.

Yay.they are a waste. I stopped my ecig for thirty six days and I started again.

I quit for 3 months but went back. I got nothing to lose and 0 desire to live. At least when i’m smoking a cigarette i get temporary relief.

If quitting is not something u really wanna do dont worry about it, u will just stress urself out.

@roxanna doesn’t ecig have nicotine too? That means it’s addictive too right?

@Esm yah I don’t like smoking anymore I want to quit. Sorry @esm but maybe you should look for a better relief than a temporary one. I can’t tell you what that is coz I don’t know what your feeling right now and nobody can. You’re the only one that can find it. But I tell you the journey to finding yourself is amazing. I’m not talking about going backpacking in Europe or going to Tibet. It can be as simple as analyzing yourself. Why am I acting or thinking this way and get rid of those things that are toxic to you. Anyways thanks for the advise you’re right quiting smoking stresses me out.

It’s all 0-24mg nicotine

Backpacking in Europe will be awesome tho. Lol… What do you think @Esm

I quit for some time. I used the patch and the gum. Don’t let yourself have even one and take it a day at a time. I plan to quit when I turn 40. :sun_with_face:

U can smoke while backpacking. Plus in europe a lot more people smoke so its more accepted. I smoke but i go on 5 mile hikes 4-5 times a week

Some questions in life dont have an answer. I’m very high functioning taking into consideration of the severity of my symptoms. And bro i had this for 11 of my 30 years and i’ve found and continue finding peace so dont worry about it.

@Esm wow 5 mile hike… I can’t even last 5 mins on a treadmill.

@SunGirl I won’t anymore not even a single one… promise.

Can’t blame ya.

Smoking is probably the biggest regret of my life.

I wish I had your willpower.

I might buy some lozenges fairly soon though.

not a waste really. I would glady flush $5 - $7 down the toliet to continue to be a non-smoker.

But I am not lucky enough to be a non-smoker yet.

I think god is trying to tell you something. He’s giving you a hint with those useless cigarettes. to not start up again.

I believe you!

as the picture shows, they are gone.

and you are back on track.

I think you handled this well. Getting rid of them rigjt away re - affirms your wanting to stay quit.

I hope I can handle my slips this well on the future.I dont know when exactly I will stop, but probably in the next 2 months. (Waiting for $ for patches as I have been smoking a looooonnngg time.)

I say you put your self back on track and good job!

@77nick77 Yah cigarettes are useless. I shouldn’t even have started it in the first place. If only I can go back in my teens I wouldn’t have touch a cigarette. It’s me that should be blame, wanting to look cool when I was in highschool. My dentist will be so proud of me for quiting. Lol
