I don’t know. Could they have been talking about your intelligence in relation to your diagnosis?

WAIS is not like the cheap and free IQ tests online.
I was talking about wais. Or any other psychology approved iq test.
Iq tests don’t measure actual metamatical ability but ability to understand mathematical concepts and the metamatical inclination, if i can say so.
They’re inspired nonetheless from mathematics.
As a thought, we inveted iq tests inspired by our invention of mathematics to determine how good we are at something we invented.
But still, we are ‘programed’ to see the world in a rational mechanic way and we cannot get past that.
So the short answers is that it might indirectly measure our ability to think logical within the limitation of mathematics.
No but it is associated with lower IQs in its more severe forms.
There are however manny more nuances and angles to this
It doesn’t sound like you’ve actually seen a WAIS test. Most of the subtests have very little to do with mathematical ability and were definitely not inspired by mathematics.

If wais has an specific iq test and not a battery of tests, then i know it already.

I’m not sure what your diagnoses are or at what point of severity autism typically affects IQ.
My real diagnosis is Asperger’s but its a form of autism

It’s the most common professionally administered IQ test. If you have been IQ-tested by a psychologist, you have probably been tested with WAIS. Otherwise, you probably haven’t seen it.
I was tested with WISC last time
Both WISC and WAIS are Wechsler tests, they’re just developed for different age ranges. They are very similar. WPPSI is also a Wechsler test.

In my case, i am very oppressed in my sz. I took some regular iq tests and if i am not in a good shape, i score poorly, around 90… When i am diligent, alone and more focused, i score around 120. I guess it varies even for the normies. They get tired too, shaken by all kinds of pressure and stress… Ask them to make iq tests in bad shape, they’ll score poorly too…
But its interesting to have an idea, i would try that too
Well I can’t understand much of this but it seems like you were tested with a matrix reasoning test? That is similar to one of the 10 subtests that are administered in a full WAIS. There are other logical reasoning tests as well, but I think they are less related to mathematical ability. And there are more of the non-logical tests such as speed of processing, working memory and verbal ability.

Verbal rationament, verbal ability, analitic rationament, spatio-temportal reasoning, speed of reaction, and a few more…
