Are people with intellectual disabilities unintelligent be where they can't reply sensible to posts?

I feel unintelligently as I feel like I’m a boring person. I unsure if I actually have an intellectual disability? The person who did the IQ test was out to get me, I scored IQ69. Can a person with a IQ of 69 read and write? or more importantly be able to travel abroad independently? My care team seem to think I have a ID.

You are smarter than me. You probably got a bad test or are traumatized from the bad test score. I was told I might have a learning disability (not paying attention, zoning out, not listening). I haven’t got a real IQ score but went to college for 3 years and probably have an IQ over 100…maybe 110 max?

Hey man, the most important thing is that you’re doing the best you can in the day you’re in. You’re also living a pretty sweet life. My only real complaint is that I’ve seen how good your photography is and you aren’t doing enough of it, IMO. The stuff you have shown is top shelf and I bet you’d really grow in that area with more practice. I think you should push harder there.

I know for surden that what I write to you now will upset you and cause offenses but if you are schizo and medicated on neuroleptics the average IQ points will drop 30 points. Now imagine your IQ were measured to 108 points. That drop in intelligence will then bring you down on an IQ of 78 points or borderline ■■■■■■■■. So if you are a quite average intelligent person with our condition. Yes than you must accept that you get some what ■■■■■■■■ on the neuroleptics.

A lot of scoring high on iq tests is being good at iq tests. It wouldn’t be impossible for you to increase your score if you were taught how to take iq tests. I read in 1900 the average tester would’ve scored 70. It’s something like that. That doesn’t mean everyone back then was dumb just didn’t have exposure to certain things. I had to look up the date. I feel dumb af but people tell me I’m not. I think a lot of it has to do with the illness. There are a lot of different types of intelligence.

@bobbilly Without a shadow of a doubt your crystallised/verbal intelligence is markedly above 69. That would point to you having poor fluid /non- verbal intelligence. Using Co-pilot

Presuming of course that the original assessment that gave you an IQ of 69 was accurate.

I had delusions my IQ was higher like 160-180 in my inner most dreams and fantasies, but people say IQ or intelligence is fixed instead of fluid. I think it’s fluid. Sometimes, I do better, but it’s not extreme. I have an energy drink addiction, where I drink 10 low carb monsters daily and barely drink water. I don’t exercise and I eat cheese burgers almost daily. I’m pretty fat too.
