I'm pretty sure I have a low IQ

Some people on here mentioned that people who don’t wear masks have low IQ, and knowing that I’m not particularly the smartest person, I decided to take a free IQ test online. Now, I realize that this isn’t an official IQ test, but I thought it might give me a baseline on what my possible official score could be. I got an 83, so that’s not too good.

I really feel like schizophrenia and medication ruined my intelligence and motivation to do things. I guess I wasn’t too surprised because my grades suffered quite a bit after my onset; I used to be a A and B student, then I was a C, D, and F student. Hopefully I can get more intelligence, but that’s not looking too good.

I think you should take a legit IQ test if you really want to know your IQ. I highly doubt the one you took was reliable. That said, I think a lot of what’s in an IQ test can be learned. I score high on IQ tests, but it’s ridiculous to me because of how much of the test I learned in school. Plus, there are different types of IQ. You may have high business IQ, high emotional intelligence, etc. the standard IQ test measure logic. That’s just one measurement. And, with my high IQ, I’ve accomplished nothing. So don’t feel bad.

I have high iq on paper but very few achievements to show for it. I used to have classmates whose academic performance leaved a lot to be desired, who nevertheless went on and accomplished nice things in life.
Don’t sell yourself short !

Being good at IQ tests just means you’re good at IQ tests. It doesn’t mean you lack intelligence if you’re not good at them.

It took me until I was 27 years old before I could spell “IQ” correctly.

IQ are oftened linked to how smart a person is, but it doesn’t proved that one is totally useless when IQ is low. they are people with super high IQ but having alot of life’s trouble like hard to focus, and other issues as well. just look at your strengths not your weaknesses, because EVERYONE have weaknesses

They are not accurate yeap… when I am in bad shape, I score around 80 too. When I put effort, I go around 120. I am quite disabled, but I had a bachelor degree in a totally foreigner country to me… but I am the same as you. Let’s just fight I guess and continue walking through this life

IMO intelligence is not as related to success in life as emotional intelligence and work ethic.

Goleman wrote a famous book emotional intelligence. I believe he states 20% of success is IQ and 80% is emotional intelligence (EQ)

Low IQ is the reason ALL 4 of my wisdom teeth were sideways. The dentist also laughed during extraction.

I was always in the top 2%. Even 7 years ago, when I took an IQ test to get into mensa, my IQ was only 6 points lower than in college. I don’t think I would do that well, now, because of people ruining my health. I’ve taken those free IQ tests before. Many are similar to authentic tests, but some are crooked and nowhere near, what your real IQ is.
